I had the good fortune to work with Carte Blanche Events on Bridge to a Cool Planet, Vancouver’s contribution to the International Day of Climate Action in 2009… Julie handled all the challenges with exceptional skill and finesse and played a crucial role in ensuring that the event was a huge success.
Ten minutes into our first telephone conversation I had complete confidence in putting a critical portion of the day’s planning entirely in Julie’s care. Her organizational ability, her experience and her professional yet approachable manner meant that advance planning and execution of the event itself all proceeded in a flawless manner.
In fact, the head of special events with the City of Vancouver, Muriel Honey, approached me as the event wrapped up to declare enthusiastically that organization and execution were “gold standard.”
